• BETTER WHEN I'M DANCIN'

Don't think about it

Just move your body

Listen to the music

Sing, oh, ey, oh

Just move those left feet

Go ahead, get crazy

Anyone can do it

Sing, oh, ey, oh

Show the world you've got that fire

Feel the rhythm getting louder

Show the room what you can do

Prove to them you got the moves

I don't know about you,

I feel better when I'm dancing, yeah, yeah

Better when I'm dancing, yeah, yeah

And we can do this together

I bet you feel better when you're dancing, yeah, yeah

When you finally let go

And you slay that solo

Cause you listen to the music

Sing, oh, ey, oh

'Cause you're confident, babe

And you make your hips sway

We knew that you could do it

Sing, oh, ey, oh

Show the world you've got that fire

Feel the rhythm getting louder

Show the room what you can do

Prove to them you got the moves

I don't know about you,

But I feel better when I'm dancing, yeah, yeah

Better when I'm dancing, yeah, yeah

And we can do this together

I bet you feel better when you're dancing, yeah, yeah

I feel better when I'm dancing

I'm better when I'm dancing, aye, oh ey oh

Feel better when I'm dancing, yeah yeah

Better when I'm dancing, yeah yeah,

Don't you know

We can do this together

Bet you feel better when you're dancing, yeah, yeah

(you got the moves, babe)

I feel better when I'm dancing

I'm better when I'm dancing

Feel better when I'm, yeah, yeah

MUSIC • SYMPHONIC ROCKSHOW

By ARTURO Monday, August 11, 2014 music

aR: check on vid below:

1:21:10 - Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody

Rock and classical music collide to form a unique concert experience

Symphonic Rockshow is the vision of producer and primary vocalist Brody Dolyniuk. After a 14 year tenure with the Las Vegas group Yellow Brick Road, which he founded in 1997, Brody closed one chapter and opened another simultaneously with a symphonic performance on June 18, 2011 at the Henderson Pavilion.

For his farewell show with YBR, Brody recruited veteran trumpeter Lon Bronson to help assemble a 21 piece orchestra and assist with new arrangements of popular classic rock anthems. A quartet of backing vocalists, a 30 foot video screen and full rock concert lighting, laser and sound system completed the presentation. The result was nothing short of a spectacle, performed before a beyond capacity crowd of 3600 Las Vegans.

The bittersweet ending was the beginning of a new era for Brody and his production, which went on to sell out subsequent shows.

Symphonic Rockshow pays homage to the rock music generation in the same respect as a symphony paying respect to Classical greats such as Mozart, Beethoven, or Bach. SRS feels that the names Page, Townsend and Taupin/John are deserving of the same honor.

The SRS mission first and foremost is to recreate these signature songs with the utmost respect and attention to detail. You will hear every nuance of the original studio recordings performed live, even down to the vocal inflections and the mix out front. Then with the added arsenal of strings, horns, wind and percussion instruments we augment signature lines or riffs, sometimes having the entire string section follow the guitar solo, or in other cases coloring outside the lines to add something new. In any case, the music is presented in a whole new dimension.

Still not satisfied, Brody wanted to add visuals that were equally stimulating to the senses. That begins with a 30 foot wide video screen which really is the focal point, bringing a close up view of the band and orchestra mixed with HD animations and graphics. Add to that a full concert laser light show, fog and pyrotechnics, and you have a show that is unique, sonically and visually exciting.

Symphonic Rockshow brings two distinct genres of music and music lovers together, young and old to experience something neither group really expects or appreciates fully until they’ve seen it live.

MUSIC • WEIRD AL YANKOVIC

By ARTURO Sunday, July 20, 2014 fun, music

aR : "Weird Al" Yankovic parodies popular hit music.

His version of Michael Jackson's "Beat It", which he titled "Eat It", became an MTV favorite.

FOIL · "Weird Al" Yankovic

[Verse 1:]

I never seem to finish all my food

I always get a doggie bag from the waiter

So I just keep what's still unchewed

And I take it home, save it for later

[Pre-Chorus:]

But then I deal with fungal rot, bacterial formation

Microbes, enzymes, mould and oxidation

I don't care, I've got a secret trick up my sleeve

I never bother with baggies, glass jars, tupperware containers

Plastic cling wrap, really a no-brainer

I just like to keep all my flavours sealed in tight

[Chorus:]

With aluminum foil (foil)

Never settle for less

That kind of wrap is just the best

To keep your sandwich nice and fresh

Stick it in your cooler (cooler)

Eat it when you're ready

But maybe you'll choose (you'll choose, you'll choose, you'll choose)

A refreshing herbal tea

[sip] Mmm, lovely!

[Verse 2:]

Oh, by the way, I've cracked the code

I've figured out these shadow organizations

And the Illuminati know

That they're finally primed for world domination

[Pre-Chorus:]

And soon you've got black helicopters comin' cross the border

Puppet masters for the New World Order

Be aware: there's always someone that's watching you

And still the government won't admit they faked the whole moon landing

Thought control rays, psychotronic scanning

Don't mind that, I'm protected cause I made this hat

[Chorus:]

From aluminum foil (foil)

Wear a hat that’s foil lined

In case an alien's inclined

To probe your butt or read your mind

Looks a bit peculiar ('culiar)

Seems a little crazy

But someday I'll prove (I'll prove, I'll prove, I'll prove)

There's a big conspiracy

I HOPE THERE'S SOMEONE

Hope there's someone

Who'll take care of me

When I die, will I go

Hope there's someone

Who'll set my heart free

Nice to hold when I'm tired

There's a ghost on the horizon

When I go to bed

How will I fall asleep tonight

How will I rest my head

And Godsend

I don't want to go

To seals of shame!

There's a ghost on the horizon

When I go to bed

Oh I'm scared of the middle place

Between light and nowhere

I don't want to be the one

Left in there, left in there

There's a man on the horizon

Wish that I'd go to bed

If I fall to his feet tonight

Will allow rest my head

So here's hoping I will not drown

Or paralyze in light

And godsend I don't want to go

To the sea's watershed

Hope there's someone

Who'll take care of me

When I die, Will I go

Hope there's someone

Who'll set my heart free

Nice to hold when I'm tired

MUSIC • LADY in RED

By ARTURO Wednesday, July 09, 2014 love, lyrics, music

aR: I love this song since the 1st. time I heard it (sorry about the dull vid I chose, but it has best audio).

LADY in RED - Chris the Burg

I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight

I've never seen you shine so bright

I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance

They're looking for a little romance, give'em half a chance

And I've never seen that dress you're wearing

Or that highlights in your hair that catch your eyes, I have been blind

The lady in red is dancing with me cheek to cheek

There's nobody here, it's just you and me, it's where I wanna be

But I hardly know this beauty by my side

I'll never forget the way you look tonight

I've never seen you looking so gorgeous as you did tonight

I've never seen you shine so bright, you were amazing

I've never seen so many people want to be there by your side

And when you turned to me and smiled it took my breath away

And I have never had such a feeling

Such a feeling of complete and utter love, as I do tonight

The lady in red is dancing with me cheek to cheek

There's nobody here, it's just you and me, it's where I wanna be

Well I hardly know this beauty by my side

I'll never forget the way you look tonight

I never will forget the way you look tonight

The lady in red, my lady in red

My lady in red, my lady in red

I love you

RYAN PARIS - Dolce Vita

We’re walking like in a dolce vita, this time we got it right,
We’re living like in a dolce vita, oh gonna dream tonight.
We’re dancing like in a dolce vita, with lights and music on,
Our love is made in the dolce vita, nobody else than you.

It’s our last night, together with your love again.
Another light, before we drown in darkness, say you’ll never leave me now,
Say you gonna love me now.

We made it down in the dolce vita, wipe all your fears away,
We live it like in the dolce vita, a game of yesterday.
I’m so alone in the dolce vita, oh baby telephone.
Our magic’s gone in the dolce vita, nobody else than you.

It’s our last night, together with your love again.
Another light, before we drown in darkness, say you’ll never leave me now,
Say you gonna love me now.

(…)

It’s our last night, together with your love again.
Another light, before we drown in darkness, say you’ll never leave me now,
Say you gonna love me now.
